Job vacancy: Premises Assistant,
Bedminster Quaker Meeting House

We are looking for someone who will care for our Meeting House and for those who hire it (including community groups, and local people) for regular meetings and one-off events. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the Meeting House is welcoming, that the physical environment is well cared for and safe and that required records are kept.

Some flexible working will be required as you will need to meet groups on different days. There are volunteers to support you with this if it is not possible for you to be present.

This role would suit you if you have paid or voluntary customer-facing experience (for instance in a cafe or a community centre), can help a variety of people feel welcome and clear especially about hiring expectations, can work without close day-to-day supervision, are a confident IT user – able to maintain records and to undertake household and some basic maintenance tasks. It is important that you have sympathy with Quaker values and beliefs.
