Horfield Quaker Meeting House, 300 Gloucester Road, Horfield, Bristol BS7 8PD
The Meeting House offers three bright and friendly spaces for hire on the ground floor with plenty of natural light. It is well placed on the west side of A38 Gloucester Road (between Radnor Road and Thornleigh Road), with its variety of shops and cafes in the centre of a long-established residential area two miles north of the city centre. The purpose built building serves the large local community and warmly welcomes a variety of groups of all ages. The presence of a resident warden ensures that rooms can be hired throughout the week.

The Large Meeting Room has long windows down both sides, acoustic ceiling tiles and double French windows to the garden. It is perfect for large group sessions, exercise and dance classes, conferences and lectures. The adjacent lobby, 9.6m x 4.1m and included in the hire, provides a separate refreshment and breakout space. Shared use of the kitchen is included in the hire charge.

The Small Room, located at the front of the meeting house, is cheerfully decorated with murals on the walls and has dual aspect windows. It is regularly used by mother & child groups; committee meetings; craft groups and twelve step/peer support groups. Shared use of the adjacent kitchen is included in the hire charge.

The Lobby is a long, bright, quiet ante room adjacent to the Large Meeting Room with library bookcases and is included with hire of the room. It is available for hire by counsellors and small committees when the Large Meeting Room is not in use. Shared use of the kitchen is included in the hire charge.
